Ray Abilmouna practices in the Firm’s litigation group, where he focuses on defense of claims related to medical negligence and other hospital-related matters, with a special emphasis on intercorporate liability and corporate structure issues. Mr. Abilmouna’s practices also include general business litigation, including defense of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims and representing local area hospitals on HIPAA compliance matters.

A native Houstonian, Mr. Abilmouna earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, Mr. Abilmouna served as an intern for the Honorable Frances H. Stacy, United States Magistrate Judge, Southern District of Texas. Mr. Abilmouna was also the publishing editor for the Houston Law Review.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Abilmouna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Management Information Systems and Marketing, a minor in International Studies, and also completed the Program for Excellence in Selling certification program. During his undergraduate studies and upon graduating, Mr. Abilmouna held various management positions in the Information Technology field.
