George Shannon is involved in a national trial practice specializing in defense of claims against companies relating to the acts of their subsidiaries and other affiliates. Mr. Shannon also represents clients in corporate governance, finance, real estate, breach of contract and related matters.

Mr. Shannon concentrates his practice in the representation of various health care corporate entities, including those within the HCA Holdings, Inc., CHRISTUS Health, and Team Health, Inc. system. He participates in cases across the United States relating to corporate structure and defense matters. Mr. Shannon has also represented numerous financial institutions and local companies in both transactional work and litigation.

Mr. Shannon is married to his wife of 45 years, Cecille. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Mr. Shannon enjoys reading, golfing, and church and community activities.
